Plantation Shutters: What size of louver is most popular?

When Naples Shutter, Inc first opened its doors 41 years ago, plantation shutters were our most sought-after product. At the time, and for the first 30 years in business, shutters with a 3.5” louver were the most requested style. A louver is the angled slat attached to the vertical stiles that frame the shutter panels. As trends began changing, the larger, 4.5” louver started being requested more often and today approximately 75% of our orders being fulfilled go with the larger louver option for their plantation shutters.
