Hardwood plantation shutters can carry the look of your window shutters across your sliding glass doors. We make each panel in our Naples factory and plan the layout around the opening, nearby furniture and everyday access to your patio or lanai.

Bypass Track Shutters

Bypass panels slide behind one another on a track. They stay within the opening rather than swinging into the room, which can help where furniture sits close to the door. Part of the opening remains covered where the panels overlap.

Bifold Shutters

Bifold panels fold toward the side of the opening, which can create a wider passage. The folded panels need space beside the door and room to move.

Hardwood for Large Shutter Panels

Hardwood lets us build wider panels with fewer divisions across a large opening. We use Poplar and Basswood and reinforce each panel's frame joints with three dowels. A coordinating finish ties the door shutters in with the windows and trim around them.

Louver Sizes and Split-Tilt Control

Choose from 3 1/2-inch and 4 1/2-inch louvers. Separately operated upper and lower louvers can let in daylight above while retaining privacy below.

A Layout That Leaves Room for Access

During measurement, we check the door handles, track depth and space around the opening. Some layouts also use a bottom track for added stability.
