March 27, 2026, NAPLES, FL – Naples Shutter, Southwest Florida’s premier manufacturer of custom plantation shutters and hurricane protection, is proud to announce a donation of $2,200 to the Military Heritage Museum in Punta Gorda. This contribution was made in memory and honor of Robert Riggs, a beloved Naples Shutter team member and a dedicated supporter of the museum.
The donation is the result of the company’s annual Veterans Day sales event. For 45 years, Naples Shutter has been committed to serving the Southwest Florida community, and this year’s initiative carried a deeper personal significance for the entire team as they sought to celebrate the legacy of their late colleague.

We can think of no better way to honor his memory and his service to our community than by supporting a mission he cared about so deeply. The $2,200 gift will support the Military Heritage Museum’s mission to honor the heritage of all military branches and all eras. The funds will assist in the preservation of the museum’s extensive collection of over 30,000 artifacts and support its educational programs and veteran services.
